Post Hezrou Battle

• the partyrew gather themselves after the battle
  • Oneshoe checks
• Cynlant splashes through the water
  • he attempts to knock Oneshoe in to the water
  • he swings then misses
• the belt of dwarvenkind reacts to Oneshoe
  • she has a thin peach fuzz

Continued Travel

• the partyrew moves through an area of thick faerzress
• eventually the scouts mention an upcoming bone yard
  • it is potentially a feeding den or a place where creatures go to die
• the skeletons appear fragile and long since alive
• Cynlant and Oneshoe dig through some of the bones in search of identifiable marks
  • they find skeletons of beasts, gnomes, dwarves, duegar, and drow
  • everyone seems to be there naturally
• rocks above rumble as oozes fall down

It’s Raining Oozes (Hallelujah)

• Droopy leaps in to action first, slashing at an ooze twice
  • he nearly downs it, but is singed by the acidic splashback
• Oneshoe extends her palm and releases a thunderous wave
  • it blasts two oozes back along with a pile of bones
• Glabagool punches another ooze
• Sheldon also fists an Ooze
• Yvelia telekinetically lifts Ally out of danger
• Cynlant bestows Ront with a brass dragons breath
  • he then loosens three eldritch blasts
• the Carls step back and unload their thunderbus into an ooze
• Ront turns on a dime and unloads his dragon breath on the bloodied ooze
  • it morphs its form mostly out of the way to avoid the damage
• the oozes move in unison
  • one goops from a distance on Sheldon
  • one strikes CARL
  • another downs Ally
• Ally holds on to life
• Droopy casts SUNBEAM from his sword
• Oneshoe inches forward, screams a healing word at the downed Ally
  • she gasps to consciousness
  • Oneshoe then fires off eldritch blasts
• Glabagool and Sheldon both punch oozes
  • Sheldon’s punch bursts the ooze into little globules
  • Glabagool’s punch bloodies another ooze
• Yvelia conjures a shadowy hound
  • she attempts and fails to move it telekinetically
  • the hound grazes the ooze
• Cynlant fires eldritch blasts
• CARL shoots one ooze dead
• the oozes smack around the various partyrew members
  • one ooze manages to poof the shadow hound
• Ally flashes as she swaps places with an ooze
• Droopy channels a divine light before launching it at an ooze
• Oneshoe eldritch-ally blasts an ooze
• Glabagool viscously mocks the ooze (he tells them that they’re not very polite)
• Yvelia orders Cheech to back up before she unleashes a fireball
• Cynlant finishes off the last ooze

End of the Day ??

• the partyrew continues forward, slightly melted
• the forces all meet up at the end of the day
• Oneshoe swiches in to doctor mode and checks people for madness
• CARL runs up to Cynlant with a massive bone in their hands and asks

“WHAT THIS”

• Cynlant identifies it as a whirling bonesaw
• the partyrew is bewildered how they managed to find it, and keep it to themselves for so long
• the partyrew members relax around a fire
• Cynlant looks over at an “order of the gauntlet” member drinking from a flask
  • he smells smoldering cedar and looks at Cynlant in anger
  • “So I guess we’re doing this the hard way”

Combat

• the first enemy knocks their long bow, firing twice at Oneshoe
  • Cynlant reacts quickly, slamming his shield on the ground
  • an ethereal dome of starry dragon scales forms protecting Oneshoe from the first arrow
  • the second lands square in her shoulder
• Cynlant runs in and casts darkness
  • once the darkness beings to swirl about him, he uses his cloak to conjure a pool of ink
  • one of the enemies begin telepathically taunting him
• One of enemies sneaks through Cynlant’s darkness
  • it fires mind blasts at Yvelia, causing it to be invisible to her
• Oneshoe snaps a causing the synapses of most enemies to sizzle in pain
  • it also hits Cheech
  • their illusions all drop
  • halfling, humans, elf with a bow, dwarf, duegar
• one of the enemies react, teleporting away quickly
• Sheldon punches at the halfling
  • both punches miss by going above
• the halfling unleashes a psychic blast
  • it dazes most of the partyrew
• Yvelia casts fireball, hitting nearly all of the enemies and Cynlant
• the dwarf raises his shield, causing his allies to be lifted in the air and shuffle around the battlefield
• Ront moves in on the shield dwarf
  • he bludgeons him to death with a sputtering of blood
  • he then locks in on another enemy, caving their skull in too
  • just before he stops moving he hurls a javelin
• one of the humans stab at Ront
  • all four of the attacks land
• CARL moves and uses his new bonesaw weapon
  • with a brrr all the saw rips and digs in to the enemy
  • little Carl slithers around her, lopping off a limb and an enemy
• One of the enemies whispers “she will be disappointed in this” before casting dimension door to leave
• Glabagool oozes forward in a rush, engulfing the elf
  • she use teleports out from inside Glabagool
  • she begins to dash away from the partyrew
• Cynlant sprouts his wings and pierces through the darkness
  • with a thunderous step in front of her
  • he continues to chase her, eventually downing her
• Oneshoe joins in the elven chase
• Droopy traps the halfling in a cube made from wall of force
• Cynlant manacles and the elf, then stuffs an old sock in her mouth
  • he secures he to the wall
• Droopy, Ront, Yvelia, and Ally gather around the cube
  • both Droopy and Ront swing when the wall of force dissipates
  • they feel like they hit something but the smoke starts to blow away
  • Oneshoe surrounds the smoke with a polychromatic bubble
  • they push the bubble in to the Yvelia’s vault

Interrogation

• the partyrew surrounds the blindfolded, restrained, and gagged unconscious elf
• they bring her to consciousness
• Cynlant asks if she will cooperate at all
  • she nods no
• Cynlant and CARL rummage through her pockets
• Oneshoe casts detect thoughts
  • in her mind she thinks “has honeygrin vanished”
  • she also thinks “amethyst has shatters”
  • there is a calmness to her thoughts
• Oneshoe continues to interrogate the elf
  • their goal was to “capture the angel”
  • she is “from the surface, in the sheath”
• Yvelia and Cynlant decide to ungag the elf
  • Yvelia casts successfully suggestion on the Elf with the help of Oneshoe
• the enemies work for Skyla, the horned human who teleported away
• the elf was payed to find the Aasimar (Cynlant)
• Cynlant recalls that the enemies may be from the League of Malevolence, a group which Cynlant’s father fought
