• Bon cajoles the partyrew to take a shot of dwarven ale

  • he goes back to the band, then goes back Cynlant to see the order of the gauntlet

• Oneshoe goes to see Sister

  • the other party members raise their eyebrows at her as she goes

Harper Yapping

• Sister is happy to see Oneshoe

  • they start by sharing simple pleasantries

• Sister introduces Oneshoe to Lord Zelraun and his shield guardian

  • she shakes his hand and attempts the shield guardians
  • it takes a second, then with a mechanical whirl it shakes back

• Oneshoe is offered wine by the Lord

  • they share a fine wine

• Lord Zelraun is also a harper, and has been stationed in Gauntlygrym

The Order of the Gauntlet

• Cynlant and Bon walk over to the order of the gauntlet

You there! You have a very fine spirit about you!

• Cynlant and Laniver share a very strong handshake

  • the banter about the demon lords

• eventually Laniver introduces his squire

  • Bon is off on the side, sniffing the items on the table

• Cynlant introduces the boyscouts and Bon

  • Laniver is happy about the reformed nature of Ront and Droopy

• Laniver stops the conversation, and questions who Cynlant serves

  • he declares himself as a paladin of Bahamut
  • Bon billows his cape
  • Droopy beams in awe
  • Laniver smiles at meeting a fellow follower of justice

• the yapping continues, as if two frat bros talking about their favorite team

• Laniver and Cynlant talk about Cynlant’s armor

  • Laniver is aghast at the sight of the Cynlant’s demon armor
  • he mentions that it is his spare, as he barks a little in

Zhentarim

• Yvelia and Ally walk over and make introductions

• Darva is well aware of the partyrew’s adventures

• Yvelia attempts to pry information from her

  • she gives up nothing, and seems bored

• eventually Darva lets slip that her business is handling things

• Darva mentions that she will add details of their conversation to the dossier

  • Yvelia mentions she might be interested in information, for coin
  • Darva’s ears perk up a bit, this being the only time she’s interested in the conversation

• eventually the not-sisters slink away, in shame

• the not-sisters get some drinks

  • Yvelia is definitely moving past tipsy

Oneshoe and the Squire

• Raneel Vanice and Oneshoe talk, its amicably

• Oneshoe bets Yvelia a favor that she can’t do better with Darva

• Bon makes introductions Maurista Malkin, as a fellow Emerald Enclave member
  • he purposely does not include Ally
• Maurista mentions having a quest for once the partyrew returns to the Underdark

The King

• Cynlant, somewhat tipsy and still snacking, talks with the king
• Oneshoe comes running over, to yap

Entree

• the feast begins in proper, with fine drinks and lavish dishes
• there is banter and boundless joy
• at the end of the meal, a king’s attendant summons the partyrew to the kings throne room

Post-Feast Meeting

• the throne room is less manicured than before

  • the meeting seems more intimate than before

• the king dismisses his guards, leaving just the King and the partyrew

• the king shares information

• need to secure support of Zhentarim, specifically Darva

  • has information about the location of Mantol Derrith
  • they have an agent named Razuum Dulak

• the partyrew will go to Ravenhollow

  • Ravenhollow is ancient place built by stone giants
  • has information on the depths

• the King is politically minded, he can only provide support if all other factions do

  • Cynlant and Yvelia think about franchising the Headporium with an attached gift shop and shawarma station

• Bon inquires if any local artificers could construct something to contain a sphere of annihilation

  • the King knows that something could be constructed

• the partyrew discusses some of their negotiation tactics for Darva in front of the King

  • Cynlant will prepare a bag of gemstones
  • on the partyrew’s behalf, the king will have an attendant make schedule a meeting

Back at the Quarters

• the walk back to the quarts is uneventful
• the partyrew sees slicer and francine passed out as they return
  • they awake to screech at Ally
• Bon pets his children, proud
  • Ally reminds him of the time they met
  • how he did something to a family of 16 gnomes
  • he almost cuts her throat at the mention of it
• the partyrew prepares for bed

Communing with Mr. F

• Yvelia, and Ally move to their room of the quarters to commune with Mr. F

  • Kyem moves outside the door as darkness fhwumps around it
  • he stands guard

• Yvelia opens with small talk, but quickly cuts Mr. F off

  • she asks for information on Darva Jassur or on the Zhentarim
  • he has none
  • she then asks for more information about his black gem
    • Nothing new, its still in a tunnel
  • the cult is making some prayers to him

• the communing ends and the partyrew sleeps

Two Days Till Conference

• Cynlant and the boy scouts go on their morning run

• Bon performs hot yoga with his kids

• CARL eats various pastries

• an attendant from the king comes

  • Darva rejected the meeting plan

• the partyrew decides to speak with the Emerald enclave first, then see Darva

• the partyrew banters on their way to the Iron Tabernacle

  • Cynlant never mentioned his patron from Gehenna to the Order of the Gauntlet
    • he prefers to keep it that way

• Cynlant dangles Oneshoe from a spear over the edge of the cart

The Emerald Enclave

• after 30 minutes of asking around, the partyrew finds Maurista
  • Bon greets her, with the wrong name
• She offers what she can dispense, in return for finding a lost wood elf scout
  • Zladith Vadir was exploring on the western side of the Dark Lake
• Cynlant offers information on Entemoch’s Boon
• Maurista offers as support
