• Gho’rosh and Yvelia try to the partyrew into a back room

• Oneshoe loudly exclaims

Temple Team

• as the temple group steps out in to the sunlight they feel blinded

  • Cynlant uses his sword to dim the light near him

• CARL telepathically speaks with Glabagool

  • one pair of raccoon hands reaches out from the middle of the trench coat to touch Glabagool

• the temple group eventually make their way to a temple of Bahamut

  • upon being greeted by a priest, Cynlant begs for a free altar slab
  • confused, they acquiesce to his request at the mention of Orcus

• commoners begin to ogle as Cynlant pulls out the dead bodies of Joaquin and Prince Derendil

  • they are also confused by Glabagool and CARL

• Cynlant begins to pray to Bahamut

  • he starts recapping the events

• the sound of a songbird appears

  • a canary flies down from above
  • a portal opens up next to Cynlant
  • a golden scaled tail comes through the portal, impaling Cynlant in the chest
    • he is pulled through the portal by the tail, before it closes
  • Cynlant cloak floats down on to the ground

• Joaquin and Prince Derendil stir, coughing up blood and bile

  • “What happened?” Joaquin asks
  • “What a second, Droopy, what happened?” Oneshoe asks
  • “Where are we?” Prince Derendil croaks out in a gruff, choppy, undercommon

• all priests descend DEEP in to prayer

  • CARL takes advantage of the moment to steal a platinum platter, adorned with symbols of Bahamut
    • it is worth 500 gp

• “Prince Derendil” continues to speak

  • “Zulgar” the quaggoth announces his name
  • the quaggoth reminisces on the happenings of the partyrew’s Underdark adventures

• the quaggoth explains as best he can his whereabouts before the drow slave camp

  • he was in a different camp
  • he has no recollection of a “Prince Derendil”

• CARL swipes an apple from the food offerings, to eat

• Oneshoe leaves a business card in the pockets of one of the praying priests

Back to the Headporium

• the group gets stopped by multiple guards on their way back to the headporium
  • each time Oneshoe shares way to much information
• the group at the Headporium looks at the temple group confused
  • Oneshoe, in way, way to much detail explains what happened
• Bon scries upon his crystal ball, he is unable to detect Cynlant on the material plane
  • the partyrew, specifically Oneshoe are afraid of his well-being
• Oneshoe speaks in elvish to the quaggoth, he looks at Oneshoe confused but unable to comprehend
• the partyrew begins to question the quaggoth
  • he doesn’t understand why they called him Prince Derendil
  • he likes how the partyrew treated him better than the drow
• Zulgar’s hand wraps CARL’s miniscule hand, they bond of their shared beast-like form
• as the remaining partyrew hunkers down to sleep, CARL whips up a dish
  • Crimson moss with cave jelly
  • it is surprisingly delectable
• CARL dissembles into a cuddly pile of 4 raccoons as it rests

Back to Business

• the partyrew prepares to check in at the temple of Bahamut about Cynlant
• a messenger appears, requesting the presence of the partyrew at Captain Grey Mountain Dark
  • it was the same messenger as before

Meeting with the Guard

• the partyrew makes their way to the guard station

• Joaquin greets them, and tells the partyrew he’s brief the Captain

• the Captain is thankful to the partyrew for their work

  • Yvelia begins to ask for more money before she is shut down
  • Oneshoe asks for help finding Cynlant on whatever plane he ended up at
  • Joaquin gives an offhanded compliment towards to the partyrew

• the Captain provides more details about the future meeting of the Lord’s Alliance

  • fear takes hold of his voice as he explains the geopolitical situation

• Oneshoe asks the Captain to produce “Missing Paladin” posters

  • he agrees, but mentions it will take a few days
  • Droopy and Ront look distant and sad at the mention of their missing father

Meeting with The Temple of Bahamut

• the partyrew returns to the temple
• the priest no longer are stuck in perpetual prayer
• Oneshoe speaks with some of the priests about the event
  • to them it was a once in a lifetime, awe-inspiring event
  • they have no clue what happened to Cynlant
  • she asks a priest to send a message, but the priest receives no response
• meanwhile, CARL steals more valuables

• Bon acquires basic adventuring gear
• the remaining Boyscouts look

Loose Ends

• Oneshoe politely asks Zulgar to tell his life story

• the story seems very mundane, at least for a quaggoth

• a drow by the name of Ivarith took a liking to him, and put him in the slave camp

• Bon plans on cultivating a grove of Underdark mushrooms

  • Yvelia mentions adding a greenhouse to the headporium

First Month of Downtime

• CARL the human merchant sells knick-knacks

• the boyscouts look for Cynlant

  • Ront buys a monocle, thinking it would help (it doesn’t)
  • Droopy starts reading Sherlock Gnomes

• Bon tries to train Slicer and Francine

• Yvelia attempts to found a cult for Mr. F

  • it fails near spectacularly

• Oneshoe spends time placing the missing flyers for Cynlant

  • she also sings songs about how much she misses him, for a gold a day

• Oneshoe also tries to read Zulgar’s mind after she calls him Derendil

  • all she can detect is fear

• during the month the partyrew hears rumors of

  • a mine near Phandalin reopened (the one they own)
  • a green dragon near ice spire peak (Venomfang)
  • a Lindwyrm has awoken for the first time in a hundred years and is terrorizing local villages
  • a rogue rat humanoid skulks its way through the city streets on the night of a full moon
    • it is naked, rocking out with its cock out

• Droopy and Ront go on a mini-adventure to Phandalin to upgrade Cynlant’s cloak

  • Yvelia hands them 4000 gp + 500 gp for fun

• the party spends time looking at the facilities of the headporium that Gho’rosh built

Second Month of Down Time

• Bon begins to seek out a necromancer for his chimera

• Oneshoe studies at libraries in an attempt to find Cynlant

• Glabagool has lots of fun sitting in at story hour in the library

• CARL continues to sell their wares and steal small items throughout town

• Yvelia works on cult building using the scriptorium

  • she manages to receive 40 gp from tithing

The Hunt

• Yvelia wakes up suddenly one day, she knows the beast hunting her is within a mile
• somewhat panicked, she beings to tell the partyrew about the presence
  • much to the partyrew’s dismay, she suggests hiding in the headporium
• suddenly SCREAMS echo down the streets
  • a giant serpent has dug its way in to the city
  • guards attempt to bring order as civilians flee in danger
