Oneshoe tries to look for the basilisks’ nest
- she finds nothing except for petrified vermin
Yvelia and Ally decapitate the head of the non-mutilated corpse
- Oneshoe has a brief conversation with her god (BM) about if she would be a colored statue
- her god answers no, which disappoints her
- somehow Yvelia tries to assuage her fears, saying that she would paint her statue
- as Yl’lib begins to speak up, Yvelia says it might not be a flattering paint job
Cynlant casts identifying
- detects the magic is conjuration
- earth elementals summoned via the circle have additional hp
- summoned creatures do not need conjuration
- the length of a summon is extended by multiple days
after identifying the circle, he messages one of the druids about its location
- he also asks if he is allowed to use it, which he is
Oneshoe looks down at her acid burned fingertips, before beckoning Glabagool to consume the basilisk corpses
- he buuuuuurrrps a little as he engulfs the second corpse
Return to the City
- the partyrew has a mostly uneventful return to the city
- Oneshoe banters with Jim Jar, asking if he has a family or a house in the city
- he does not
- Oneshoe also thanks him for not abandoning the partyrew, which he retorts that the group has issues with that
The Lobby
- the city seems mostly the same, except for a few additional burn marks and rubble
- the partyrew makes their way to the druids and Gurnick Tapfinger
The Speaking Stone
- Cynlant steps forward and talks with Gurnick
- Bon shows the map to him, but refuses to let him take it
- Yvelia convinces Bon that he should be the first to be restored, for the sake of his children
- at the mention of his children, he immediately agrees
- as a reward, he reaches out and casts Greater Restoration on Bon
- Gurnick Tapfinger discusses the current issue with Ogremach’s Bane
- gusts of wind can blow it
- direct magic attacks don’t seem to do much to it
- best solution is containment or banishment
- the partyrew discusses ways to handle the entity
- seal it in a bag of holding
- possibly send the bag to the astral plane
- possibly seal the bag
Diggermatach Hall
the partyrew march over to the Diggermatach’s
- giant salt blocks are stacked outside
the wererat king sits with Dorbo and Senny
- they great the partyrew and begin to discuss the battle plans
they have prepared a concoction to clear rubble
- hundreds of oozes have begun to gather
- they gather in the old palace, a large hollow orb
Oneshoe feels additionally motivated at the mention of the orb
- she goes on a tangent about the fun activities that can happen in a sphere
Yvelia pipes up, asking for payment for services rendered
- they oblige, but as they ask for their guards to retrieve them Yvelia has a suggestion * if they loan more spell gems, the partyrew can fill them with Gusts of Wind in order to capture Ogremach’s Bane
the strategy continues
- the wererats and svirfneblin will prepare the frontal assault on two fronts
- the strike team slaying the pudding king should hopefully end the influence on the oozes
- forces

some back and forth happens on when to crack open the ooze filled cavern
- one day before the weapons fully arrive the rubble will be cleared

Cynlant leads the partyrew out, in search of magic items
Shopping Time
- a new gnome greets a greedy looking Cynlant
- he has just return from Gracklstugh
- has many items worth of valuable goods
- Cynlant’s eye grow WIDE at the mention of his wares, before sprinting off to sell various items
- Bon purchases a magic chain shirt
- Yvelia sells multiple gems for Oneshoe to buy the ring of spell storing
Downtime
- the boyscout resume their construction company, helping build defenses for the city
- Ront is cured of his alcoholism (from madness)
- Yvelia is cured of her murderous intent( from madness)
- Bon tends to Slicer and Francine who continue growing
Capturing Ogremach’s Bane
at some point during the downtime the partyrew decides to track down the cloud
once they find it in the residential districts Oneshoe entraps it in chromatic bubble
- it swirls around malevolently in the bubble, before Cynlant captures it in an empty bag of holding
the partyrew returns to the Gurnick Tapfinger to tell him the good news
- they also return the unused spell gems to the Diggermatach’s
Trader’s Grotto
- on one day in the market, a merchant is selling

- +1 light crossbow 300
- a pale, tall, sickly green figure towers in the distance
- it is the Merchant with cursed wares from before

the partyrew agrees to purchase all of his items, as he lankly walks off into the distance
Oneshoe tries to follow him, but as he rounds a corner the she can’t see him
Cynlant identifies the cloak of displacement
- if an attack hits the wearer, a random item in the person’s possession appears within 30ft of the wearer
- he hands the item to Yvelia
Cynlant identifies the ring, chuckles, then hands it to Oneshoe
Cynlant identifies the mage box, chuckles even more, then hands it to Oneshoe
- she opens the box, it immediately closes it
- she tries to open it again, it immediately closes it
- on her third attempt, she holds it with her legs and pets it
- as she begins petting it, the hand closes the box
Cynlant identifies the last item, the dagger, then tucks it into his pack
- Oneshoe and Yvelia try to ask him what it does, but he refuses to share
The Tavern
- the partyrew walks to the tavern
- Oneshoe tries to open the front door, but it does not budge
- she keeps trying, until eventually, Cynlant easily opens the door
- she rushes in behind him
- the rest of the partyrew make their way to their rooms
- Oneshoe tries to open the door to her and Glabagool’s room, but fails
- she uses mage hand to open it
- once inside she tries to open it, but can’t until she doesn’t have the ring on her possession
Downtime Continued
- the boyscout construction company earns 100gp
- Bon started finding a place to start a daycare in the city
- the Oozes attack 9 days early! Only half of the svirfneblin are armed
Battle for Blingdenstone
the partyrew gains an extra +5 damage per attack roll for each fight before the pudding king
the partyrew also gains one re-roll of any saving throw throw or ability check
the oozes are attacking on two fronts, with most of the partyrew defending the gate near the palace
Initial Assault ⚔️
- after the partyrew splits to handle the fronts, the Joaquin fires the first strike
- Jim Jar follows up soon after, steadying his aim for loosing arrows at a Black Pudding
- Cynlant moves towards one combatant, then strikes with the dagger he purchased from the merchant
- the weak little dagger causes the ooze to splatter around him, looking grievously injured
- an allied earth elemental slams into a gray ooze, damaging it
- Ront uses his new flaming sword to attack critically strike a gray ooze, killing it
- Oneshoe fires attacks the black pudding, damaging it
- Yvelia eldritch blasts one of the oozes, killing it
- one of the oozes stares at Prince Derendril the best it can, causing him to hold his head and howl in pain
- the battle continues with attacks flying at the last remaining ooze
- Glabagool squelches out
