• the partyrew deliberates what to do with the giant mushroom
  • to burn or not to burn
• Joaquin reports to the surface the presences of a second Demon Prince
• Basidia organizes their circles in preparation
• Cynlant sends a message to the squirrels at the world tree about the displaced myconids
  • the squirrel leader responds back, and is happy to host Basidia’s friends
• the partyrew decides to leave the grove immediately
• Basidia provides the group with another gourd, containing rapport spores
  • 4 uses which affect 6 creatures
• the partyrew says their goodbyes to Stool
  • he has a standoff with Bon, as weapons are exchanged

Journey to Blingdenstone

Day 1-2

Camp

• according to Joaquin, the Lord’s Alliance is planning a coalition strike on the fiends of the underdark
• the travel to Blingdenstone is 16 days
• Oneshoe and Jim Jar talk about Blingdenstone
  • destroyed by the drow
  • it has slowly been rebuilt
  • the city has less trade than Gracklstugh
• Joaquin explains more of the geography of the Underdark
• eventually the partyrew set up camp and rest

Bubble Shenanigans 🫧 🤡

• Oneshoe puts Cynlant in a polychromatic bubble
  • the frail Bon throws a weak strike, barely damaging the bubble
  • he begins to float up, but smites the bubble open

Watch

• on Bon’s watch, he notices three figures crouching in the distance
  • a presence prods at Bon’s mind
  • he rouses Cynlant from his rest
• with his superior sight, Cynlant sees the three are Nothics
  • they try to dig into his mind also
• Bon maneuvers his drift globe towards the Nothics, upon which they are scared off

Day 3

• the partyrew begins their journey to Blingdenstone

Rope “Bridge”

• while making their way to Blingdenstone, the partyrew encounters a chasm
  • a thing narrow rope bridge spans across it
  • even with his superior vision, Cynlant is unable to see the chasm’s floor
• Cynlant casts ✨ light ✨ and throws the Dwarven Thrower
  • it hits the bottom, and he is able to see various scattered remains
  • the majority of the remains are underneath the bridge’s beginning
• the partyrew debates what is the safest way to transport everyone over the bridge
  • they agree to go over the bride one at a time, while holding a rope
• somewhat frustrated, Cynlant grabs Oneshoe under his arm and walks away from the group
  • with a crackle he ⚡ thunder steps ⚡across the chasm
  • he forgot that the rope was supposed to be held by someone on both sides of the bridge
  • Kyem flies a rope across the chasm
• Yvelia decides to cross the bridge first, grasping the rope and taking a step
  • her foot fall straight through the bridge
  • much to her dismay, the entire bridge is an illusion
  • she proceeds to tumbles down 150ft, and is hurt
  • cackling is heard from above
• Cynlant sprouts his wings to fly down and carries her to safety
  • he proceeds to taxi the rest of the partyrew across the gap
• While the cackling is happening, Oneshoe tries to conjure a hypnotic pattern at their source
  • footsteps can be heard running off into the distance
• Kyem flies invisibly but not silently to tail the footsteps
  • he finds a small cavern with a wooden lift
  • inside the cavern a group of goblins an hobgoblins have made a camp
  • Yvelia relays Kyem’s scouting information to the rest of the partyrew

Goblin Encampment

• On the final trip to carry Ront over the gap, Cynlant flies directly to Kyem’s location
  • Ront hops out of Cynlant’s arms and lowers the hand cranked lift
• swiftly the partyrew members climb up the rope, only to be greeted by the sharp sting of various magics
  • they are shocked
  • they are charred
  • they are pissed.
• barely standing from her recent tumble, Yvelia faints and falls off the lift’s ledge
  • she lands directly at Bon’s feet
  • Bon heal’s Yvelia, who once conscious stares off into the distance
• combat continues, with the goblinoids almost successfully downing Oneshoe
• a meek Bon conjures woodland beings about himself
  • they are 2 dimensional copies of him
  • he proceeds to crouch down as his form melds into a skitterling (? I couldn’t find this creature so it’s probably the wrong name)
  • in his new form, Bon flies over the heads of all the enemies, causing his 2-dimensional copies to strike them
• the partyrew is able to make short work of the goblins from there on
• at the end of the battle the group is battered and bruised
