Oneshoe explodiates 🎆 the undulating worm and spore thralls with a fireball 🔥
- the bodies burn as the worm screeches in pain
Yestabrod the worm menacingly gurgles back “visitors”
- fungus infested bodies and myconids rise from the dirt

Prince Derendil whiffs his attacks
Joaquin swiftly slays a single raised myconid
Bon conjures a flaming sphere, and rolls it into the worm
- it begins to ooze goop and spores
Suddenly, Cynlant feels a creek on his back and a spot of wetness
- as Sarith groans, Cynlant no longer feels his head pressed against his back
Jim Jar fires two bolts at the drow Derendil was attacking, killing it instantly
- “Bet you couldn’t do that” Jim Jar says to Derendil
- afterwards he stealths and raises his mask
Eldeth dashes forward and marks the worm, readying herself to attack
Droopy hurls two javelins at the worm, with one striking it square
Yestabrod wriggles towards its assailants and retches up a cone of noxious fumes
- everyone is able to dodge out of the way
In retaliation Cynlant smites the worm from invisibility
- As he becomes visible, the condition of Sarith’s body becomes apparent
  - his head is overtaken by mushroom growths
- On his second strike Cynlant squashes the worm
As the worm collapses the mushroom infested combatants go limp
- Cynlant discerns that the worm is comprised of the same material as the myconids
Yvelia prepares to eldritch blast but her eyes glaze over as she raises her hand
Oneshoe “demonstrates” how to cast eldritch blast to Yvelia
- meanwhile Cynlant turns to Oneshoe
  - “Look at what happened to your friend”
- Oneshoe hurls as she complains “He’s DEAD?!?!”
Ront hacks the remaining myconid to pieces

Ront proceeds to peel Sarith’s fetid body off of Cynlant
Bon collects spores from Sarith’s mushified head
Oneshoe loots through the charred bodies
- goo covered studded drow leather armor
  - she dons it after Yvelia prestigidates it clean
- bag of holding
  - 2 spell scrolls
    - spell scroll
Oneshoe is dismayed by the loss of Sarith
- the rest of the group doesn’t care as much
- Cynlant is too focused on the goop in his armor to care
Kyem hears a discordant song in the distance
- he is able to determine it’s 12 medium sized creatures and some small size creatures
- they are moving in a wedding-like procession

two myconids appear, ignoring the group carry the worm body
the partyrew is stumped at with the name of the groom of the wedding
- they decide its best to leave the grove
the wedding procession enters the view of the partyrew
- they begin to speak in the Abyssal tongue
four spore servants puppet Yestabrod’s body to officiate the wedding
- a large and small plant-like body act as the bride and bridegroom
the partyrew all receive a vision
- in a large tower a giant fungal women is surrounded by her servants
- the servants are singing
- the giantess is wearing a bridal like veil
Yvelia and Eldeth become even more maddened
- Eldeth stops moving, staring off in the distance
  - Oneshoe smacks her back to sense
- Yvelia stares off in the distance for a minute

Cynlant casts bonfire on Sarith to cremate his body
Bon doesn’t detect any significant amount of corrupted spores
- they decide to clean off any remaining spores
- Yvelia prestigidates multiple people clean
Seeing Oneshoe’s excitement at taking a bath, Cynlant tosses her into the water
- she does a flip as she lands
- some skeletons lie in the body
A mound begins to rise from the ground, shambling
Yvelia asks if the Headporium has health insurance
- it does not
With a wave of her hand Yvelia makes the partyrew members sans Oneshoe smell like roses
- Oneshoe once back on land asks to be rose scented
  - Yvelia prestigidates a fart sound on her
- Bon druidcrafts a skunk smell
- the partyrew starts to advance

the partyrew takes their places as they prepare to attack
Cynlant critically strikes it from invisibility,
partyrew members begin to strike the mound with ranged attacks
Bon wildshapes into a horse, and pushing his flaming sphere into the mound at a great speed
Ront critically strikes the mound
ranged attacks continue to fly towards the mound
- Yvelia’s blasts into the dirt
- once again Oneshoe “shows Yvelia how it’s done” by landing hits on the mound
The mound strikes at Cynlant twice
- he blocks one attack with a shimmering magical shield
- he blocks the other with his corporeal shield
In an act of reprisal Cynlant critically strikes the mound with a glowing wave of light
- he strikes again, seriously injuring the mound
the partyrew continue to beat down the mound
Ront lands the killing blow 🪓 on the mound
as the partyrew members relax, the Cynlant looks for nearby enemies
- there is nothing of note
the boyscouts drag the remains of the mound closer to the Circle of Explorers

Oneshoe tries to track down the Grick
- she eventually catches on to it’s tracks
after following the tracks the partyrew members stumble upon the den of the Grick
it stands tall in it’s nest
an invisible Cynlant begins to inch towards the Grick
- it stands up alert after hearing the clank clank of Cynlant’s armor
the partyrew begins to attack the Grick
- Prince Derendril’s axe appears to do less damage than he expects
the Grick strikes at Prince Derendil, bruising him
the party continues to attempt to strike the Grick
- most of the attacks miss
Bon tries to dash through Derendil to kick him as a warhorse
- he stumbles on his leap, falling behind Derendil
the boyscouts drag the Grick towards the mound

after dragging the bodies back, the partyrew walks back to the leaders melding
- the partyrew deliberates, and they decide to have Cynlant attempt to get Basidia’s attention
Basidia comes too, and follows Cynlant
- they are happy to see the dead shambling mound and Grick
Cynlant explains the presence of the demon lord
- Basidia is extremely concerned by this
- they listen to the warning to move on
Basidia plans to conjure those not faithful to Zuggtomy and make their exodus
the partyrew debates whether or not to burn the mushroom down
